New podcast for learning Chinese characters

Hi there

Just thought that students studying reading and writing might like to made aware of a new free podcast available on iTunes that specialises in teaching reading and writing Chinese characters.

It's called Pod Characters. It teaches Hanzi from beginners level using short audio lessons that incorporate images on the iPod screen.

You can check it out on iTunes, or via the website www.podcharacters.com, which also includes pdf reviews and exercises for each lesson.

If you want to learn Chinese, an English-Chinese phrase book may help you a lot. It includes many daily words and expressions. Best of all, it is talking! You can correct your pronunciation anytime and anywhere.
